An Adventure in Greens

Sick of salad? My fiance came up with this awesome salad alternative...using individuals romaine leaves, he spread some garlic hummus and tzatziki on each leaf (you could use salad dressing) and then sprinked on some sliced mini bell peppers. Mmmm...instant finger food! You could also just put whatever vegetables (cucumber slices perhaps?) you wanted on the leaves and then wrap them up and dip into the dressing or dip of your choice. Anyhow it was a fun and tasty approach to salad!

It's 2012 and I hope everyone had a great holiday season! My fiance & I are all settled in our new apartment in Oakland, CA. We said farewell to Arizona in mid-December and we are loving our new home state of California. We went to Oregon to visit family for christmas and then rang in the new year in San Francisco!
